To exchange the heater, first, unscrew the 4 cables connected to the position of terminal 13, item no. T5-1-12451, remove the heater from its seating by unscrewing the 2 nuts positions on the underside and holding it down to the heater bracket position 3. In some cases, it can be a good idea to exchange one or more of the insulation sheets item no. T5-1-12411 position 15 (1 piece) Newer versions of the TP-702-59 don't have this insulation sheet added and/or T5-1-12412 position 16 (3 pieces). You will need a 5.5 mm fork wrench to unscrew the M3 nuts.

Every time you exchange the heater the spring position 12, item no. TB-115 should also be exchanged to secure longer life of the heater and sort its positioning stays intact.

Often heaters wear out due to pure strap quality with much dust that leaves residue on the heater surface or dust caused from the package. Your strapping is too small compared to the arch size. If the strap used per shot is less than 1/5 of the strap situated in the arch, the small side, and surface sitting PP bits will rock back and forth and break off giving extra dust and service demand, often causing poor performance of any strapping machine. Always choose a suited strap for automatic machines and have your machine cleaned regularly.
