The heater wears out every 5-8 years depending of use, climate and maintance. It is easy to exchange, but make sure in doing so that it remains loose and able to move up and down. The heater needs this play to self adjust. 

To exchange un screw the 2 cables, release the return spring TB-114, pull up and back the heater and it can glide back and release. To mount the new one just follow same, in opposite direction.

For many of the machines sold as Strapex Eco-pack, this heater also applies. If in doubt contact our customer support.
